Surplus Food
Overview
Our way to Surplus Food
Erodu Siragukal’s Surplus Food Project acts similarly to a Food Bank, aiming to utilize excess food from various parts of the city and convert it into a food supply chain for the poor and needy. We collect surplus food from restaurants, hotels, weddings, and other ceremonies. The goal of this project is to raise awareness among individuals that in Erode, every extra meal that is wasted can be distributed to satisfy someone’s hunger.
People with extra food can call Erodu Siragukal’s helpline numbers and donate their surplus food through us. We collect the food from them and distribute it to the nearest location. We also ensure the quality and hygiene of the food before accepting the donation
